A voice that is able to move crowds and have party goers pay attention to every word spoken is definitely a talent; a talent that Linky discovered when he picked up a microphone and spoke over a Reggae beat.
Linky, born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, discovered his talent at age 13. With two uncles who were DJs, music runs in the family. Linky started to DJ at all of his high school dances, pep rallies and school events, playing the latest in Reggae, Hip Hop and R&B music. Linky was in love with music, but most of all, he was fascinated by what the music did to the crowd, by just the sound of his voice and his hands on the turntables.
Linky got together with longtime friend, DJ Stamina, in 2005, along with DJ Fergie, (now a power 96 DJ), and began playing music together. After gaining experience and further knowledge into the South Florida Caribbean music scene, Linky and DJ Stamina branched off and formed IronHeart Sound. Linky can now be found in various nightclubs all over South Florida rocking the microphone and moving the crowd. Though he may be new to the South Florida scene, he’s respected, talented, and he’s just getting started.
