All hail the Mighty Sound Called Jahstream!! A legendary Miami based roots and reggae sound that started in the southwest miami area named perrine. With 19 years of experience Israel, Ragga,Lion, Jeru and Judah brought a undeniable vibe to the Miami reggae scene. The sound was founded by Israel, Ragga, and Lion as they began to collect records at the age of 15 forming the triple threat ,Mainstream. By the time they were sixteen they started renting warehouses out and throwing parties; a trend that has continued ever since.. These parties led to them making a name for themselves while they were still in High School. After High School they found their true purpose in the music which was Jah in their lives, which led to the name change, Jah Stream. Within three years of starting the sound they began to collect dub plates from artists such as: Terry Ganzi, Freddy Magregor, Michael Rose,Capelton, Jr. Gong and Sizzla Kalongi just to name a few. Jahstream then became a household name as promoters began to book them for clubs all over the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale area. It was only natural due to their growing fan base that they were asked to play on the biggest carribean community station, mixx 96.
